Vendor Spotlight: Appliances with Mister Electric

Everyone who knows me knows that I value working with good people above all else.

If you’ve ever renovated a home, you know that buying appliances isn’t actually about just choosing a fridge, oven or dishwasher. There are measurements, specs, cabinetry details, delivery dates, electrical requirements, and about 700 other things that somehow need to line up at exactly the right moment.

And if you’re an English speaker trying to navigate all of this in Israel, it can be even more overwhelming.

This is exactly why I send my clients to Ilan.

Ari with Ilan Ben Harosh - Mr Electric

He Knows His Stuff

Ilan is third generation in the appliance business. This is literally the world he grew up in, and you can tell.

He knows the products, he knows the brands, and he knows the industry. But what I appreciate most is that he actually listens.

He isn’t trying to sell the most expensive appliance in the store. He wants to understand how you cook, how your family lives, what matters to you and what your budget is — and then find the right solution.

Because not every kitchen and not every family needs the same products.

And He Has Everything

Ovens, cooktops, range hoods, integrated refrigerators and dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, wine fridges, built-in coffee machines — basically everything I need to finish a kitchen or laundry room. And if he doesn’t carry it but I ask for it - he will get it.

But honestly, that’s still not the main reason I work with him.

I Never Have to Chase Him

In addition to his rock solid integrity, this is the other part that matters to me most.

Ilan is one of the very few vendors I never have to remind about anything. Ever.

Anyone who works in construction knows how rare that is.

On any given project, I’m keeping track of contractors, vendors, suppliers, measurements, deliveries, changes, drawings, approvals and about a million tiny details. Half my job sometimes feels like sending messages that start with, “Just checking in…” and then someone trying to buffer the client disappointment when I don’t get a solid enough answer.

Ilan never needs a reminder. He knows what was ordered. He knows what needs to happen next. He remembers the details. And if there is something I need to know, he usually tells me before I even think to ask him.

Why I Send My Clients to Him

When I send a client to Ilan, I don’t worry.

I know he’ll take care of them. I know he’ll explain the options. I know he’ll make sure the appliances work with the kitchen we designed. And I know he’ll be there when we actually need him — not disappear the second the sale is finished.

For me, the best vendors aren’t just suppliers. They become part of the team.

And Ilan is crucial on my team.

He makes my projects run more smoothly, my clients happier, and my WhatsApp slightly less insane.

If you’re renovating, building, or just finally replacing that appliance you’ve hated for the last five years, go see Ilan at Mister Electric in Jerusalem.
