A shoutout to Pisgat HaZechuchit and why they're top!
You know how I always say that a great design is only as good as the people who bring it to life? Well, today I want to talk about one of those people, actually one of those families, who have been making my projects shine for the past six years.
Liad and the team at Pisgat HaZechuchit (פסגת הזכוכית) are a family-run glass company who will work with me and other clients anywhere in Israel. And I mean anywhere in Israel.

How it started
A contractor introduced us on a project about six years ago, and it's been a true partnership ever since. You know that feeling when you meet a vendor and just get it? That's what happened here. Within one project I knew these were my people.
It's a father-and-two-sons operation, and one of the sons just got out of the army which, if you know anything about Israeli life, means he hit the ground running straight into a family business with zero drama. That work ethic is built in. Supporting a family business that genuinely cares about quality isn't just a vendor relationship, it's a partnership.
What they actually do
Short answer: everything glass. Stair railings, interior doors, shower and bath screens, kitchen backsplashes, mirrors. If it involves glass, they manufacture it and then install it themselves. Having a vendor who is present for the full process from fabrication to installation means fewer surprises, better quality control, and someone who actually owns the outcome.

Why I keep going back to them
Let me tell you what sets Liad and his team apart, because it's not just about the glass.

They will not compromise on quality. Not in a stuffy, inflexible way. They care so much about the end result that they'll actually push back. Thinner glass? “No- we won’t risk safety”. Cheaper hardware? “No- it will rust in two years.” Hard pass. And it's not about prestige or money. It's about what happens to the client two, three, five years down the road. They actually care about longevity when some vendors are already thinking about the next job.
They'll sit with you, look at the design, and plan it out together, rather than just execute whatever you hand them. I've had them flag things, like a specific glass type that wouldn't pair well with a particular shower head, or client height vs shower screen height, before a single thing got installed. That kind of proactive thinking saves my clients headaches and saves me calls at 11pm.
And when something has gone wrong (because sometimes things do), they fix it immediately. That's rare, and not to be taken for granted.
One more thing worth noting: during the consultations and installations, they spend time in people's bathrooms and showers, the most private room in the home. They better be warm, trustworthy, and easy to be around. And they are, every single time.
No job too small, no location too far
They take every job seriously. One shower screen at the tip of the country? They'll drive out and do it with a smile. That consistency matters to me because my clients are everywhere, and I need vendors who show up like professionals whether it's a full renovation in the center or a single installation hours south.
My reputation is only as strong as the people I bring onto a project.
The Living by Ari philosophy
Here's how I think about it: if I bring in experts in every single trade, people who truly know their craft, it's very hard to go wrong. Pisgat HaZechuchit is exactly that for anything glass-related. After six years, I have never ever been disappointed by them.
Relationships in this industry are everything. You don't just hire a vendor, you build something together. These guys get that. They show up as partners, not contractors, and that's exactly the kind of team I want in my corner.
Big love to Liad and the whole Pisgat HaZechuchit family. Here's to many more beautiful projects together.
